The Business Development Executive will drive growth for a construction-tech startup by onboarding truck operators and construction material suppliers while acquiring buyers such as developers, contractors, site engineers, and individuals building across Lagos. The role involves lead generation, pitching and demonstrating the platform, closing deals, driving first orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and tracking the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in construction, real estate, logistics, or marketplace platforms, with strong communication, negotiation, and field sales skills. An existing Lagos construction or logistics network is a major advantage. Salary: ₦150k + commission. Responsibilities - Onboard trucks; sand/granite suppliers to the platform. Maintain relationships with existing supplier network - Generate leads from construction sites; developers; contractors and individuals in Eko Atlantic; VI; Ajah; Lekki and surrounding areas - Track competitor pricing and gather feedback on what buyers need - Represent client at sites and industry events. Build trust in a new product - Log all leads; suppliers and deals. Weekly report on pipeline and conversions; Pitch the app; do demos: close deals; and drive first orders during soft launch Requirements - 2+ years’ experience in B2B sales; logistics; construction; or marketplace platforms - Existing network in construction; real estate; or logistics in Lagos is a huge advantage - Self-starter; target-driven; and comfortable selling a new product - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Must be comfortable visiting construction sites and meeting clients physically - Laptop + smartphone + ability to work remotely Required Skills good communication
