ePlus is seeking a high-performing Cisco Software Business Development Executive to drive software growth, recurring revenue, subscription adoption, and Enterprise Agreement strategy across an assigned territory. This individual will partner with sales, engineering, services, and Cisco stakeholders to develop pipeline, accelerate software-led opportunities, and increase adoption of Cisco software, licensing, and lifecycle solutions. The ideal candidate brings experience with Cisco Enterprise Agreements (EAs), software lifecycle management, subscription-based revenue models, software renewals, customer success initiatives, and executive-level solution selling.

Your Impact

The essential functions of this position include:

  • Drive measurable growth in Cisco software revenue, subscriptions, renewals, and enterprise buying programs.
  • Lead territory strategy for Cisco Enterprise Agreements (EA), CX EA, IPA, WPA, and related software initiatives.
  • Identify, qualify, and advance software-led opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts.
  • Partner with account executives and engineering teams to build software pipeline and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Conduct executive-level customer engagements with VP, CIO, CTO, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Enable field sales teams through training on Cisco licensing, software programs, lifecycle services, and adoption strategies.
  • Develop and execute demand-generation and marketing campaigns to increase software awareness and adoption.
  • Promote ePlus services that enhance software adoption, lifecycle management, and customer outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and territory planning while meeting or exceeding revenue objectives.
  • Collaborate with Cisco and internal stakeholders to align go-to-market motions and growth strategies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software, SaaS, subscription, cloud, or technology solution sales experience.
  • Proven business development experience driving net-new revenue and pipeline growth.
  • Experience with Cisco software, licensing models, Enterprise Agreements, or lifecycle programs preferred.
  • Success selling to executive decision makers including CIO, CTO, VP, and line-of-business leadership.
  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue models, renewals, software adoption, and customer success principles.
  • Experience working in matrixed sales organizations and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Position Specifics

The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $85,000 and $110,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.
