Business Continuity and Crisis Management (BCM) is pleased to share an exciting opportunity for a role on the Digital Business Resilience Team. This Business Continuity Advisor position offers the chance to gain meaningful experience while contributing to critical enterprise-wide outcomes.
This role will initially focus on leading key workstreams that support the continuation of the Enterprise Cyber Resiliency Program. In this capacity, you will demonstrate strategic thinking, provide thought leadership, and guide cross‑functional partners toward successful delivery. Upon completion of these workstreams, the role will assume ongoing ownership and governance of the resulting enduring deliverables. This position provides broad exposure and collaboration with stakeholders and leaders across the organization.
1. Cyber Resiliency Program
Develop and implement the cross‑divisional, end‑to‑end process for integrating new critical third parties into cyber contingency plans.
Develop the third-party activation strategy.
Develop the third-party testing strategy.
Establish a centralized repository for cyber contingency crew rosters, including the change-management process.
Design and implement the process for capturing critical documentation required during cyber contingencies.
2. Enduring Cyber Response Plan
Serve as the primary lead for the ongoing governance of the Cyber Third-Party strategy.
Serve as the primary lead for the ongoing governance of the Cyber Crew Activation strategy.
Act as the Value Stream subject matter expert (SME), ensuring accurate mapping, documentation, and readiness of cyber contingency processes.
Manage a sustainable process for maintaining Value Stream Maps in partnership with business and IT counterparts.

Core Responsibilities
1. Participates in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Facilitates testing and emergency response. Consults and provides direction on the operating strategies for the continuation of business within a recovery time objective.
2. Acts as a primary point of contact and oversees business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster-preparedness planning. Provides support and expertise during live events.
3. Consults on, communicates, and maintains business continuity lifecycle planning and business impact analysis. Identifies and quantifies the potential impact of various disruptions and disaster scenarios. Makes recommendations to management and may present business continuity issues to internal partners.
4. Monitors and reports on the compliance of business continuity processes, readiness, events and exercise results. Supports enterprise in relationships with audit and government regulators on business continuity issues.
5. Provides training, maintenance, and support for approved contingency planning tools and plans. Shares information on enterprise continuity processes, standards and initiatives.
6. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years related work experience. Three years of business contingency or disaster recovery management experience.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), Associate Business Continuity Professional (ACBP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or progress towards business continuity planning certification is preferred.
