Harris Corrections is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team.
What your impact will be:
- Examine and create functional requirements for corrections software
- Examine and document new or revised product, program, service, or process
- Document, validate and manage requirements from stakeholders
- Partner closely with the Product Owner, Project Managers, Development and QA teams
- Create comprehensive use cases and acceptance criteria for new or revised products
- Act as a bridge between business and R&D teams
- Follow and adjust to changing requirements in the corrections industry
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Work on documentation, release notes and some other documents
- Help Project Managers and Sales
What we expect:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field
- Professional certification in business analysis, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA)
- Experience with relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analytics tools
- Knowledge of development cycle including QA
- Knowledge of Agile Development
- Knowledge of corrections industry an asset
