Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication with product management teams and clients to identify product needs and priorities.
- Elicit business and functional requirements, including documentation for new products, tools, and solutions.
- Review current and future-state business processes to recommend workflow improvements.
- Conduct fit/gap analysis, feasibility studies, and business cases to support efficient decision-making.
- Provide subject matter expertise in medical research compliance and ethics.
- Offer timely insights to product teams and committees for enhancements that improve client services.
- Act as a liaison between clients and product teams to optimize business processes.
- Coordinate user testing and ensure smooth system implementation.
- Assist in the development of best practices and tools for escalated support.
- Provide mentorship to other analysts, reviewing requirements and ensuring consistency in documentation.
- Be available for occasional urgent requests outside of normal business hours.
- Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to IRB compliance.
- Train and support stakeholders on IRB processes and regulations.
- Stay current with federal, state, and institutional policies on research ethics.
Qualifications:
Required:
- U.S. work authorization.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Systems, Analytical Sciences, Healthcare, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of business analysis experience.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of process management and workflow optimization.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Workday, Salesforce.
- Experience in research administration and compliance.
This role is vital in ensuring smooth IRB application processes while maintaining research integrity and compliance.
The estimated base salary for this job is $60,000 - $80,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $64,800 - $89,600. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
