Banquet Steward - Hilton Chicago

Hilton Chicago is looking for their next Banquet Steward!

Set along iconic Michigan Avenue, Hilton Chicago places guests steps from Grant Park, Lake Michigan, and Museum Campus with easy access to Soldier Field events, Chicago’s renowned festivals, and the vibrant dining, nightlife, and cultural scene of the nearby Pilsen neighborhood.

The ideal candidate brings at least a year of previous banquet steward experience in a large hotel environment. 

Shift Pattern: Open availability required, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays, mornings and evenings.

As a Banquet Steward, you’re not just setting up and maintaining banquet spaces — you’re helping deliver seamless events and exceptional hospitality that guests will remember long after the celebration ends.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Maintain event cleanliness: Keep banquet areas, back-of-house spaces, and storage areas clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout events
• Support food and beverage service: Assist banquet servers and kitchen teams with transporting equipment, food items, and service materials as needed
• Support events delivery: Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions
• Train and mentor team members: Share your expertise with new stewards to help strengthen team performance
• Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being

• Maintain event cleanliness: Keep banquet areas, back-of-house spaces, and storage areas clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout events
