Role Summary/Purpose:

The AVP, QVC Group Marketing will be responsible for flawless execution of cardholder marketing programs that support activation, engagement, lifecycle, and retention across the QVC Group credit programs (QVC and HSN), time will be split between the HSN and the QVC brands. This role partners closely with the client and cross-functional internal teams to deliver high-quality, on-time campaign execution across digital and offline channels, ensuring all requirements, controls, and compliance standards are met.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Execute cardholder marketing campaigns across lifecycle stages (including early month-on-books, activation, engagement, and retention) to support portfolio goals.

  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution across channels (e.g., email, direct mail, digital placements, and client-owned channels), ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy.

  • Coordinate day-to-day campaign development with internal partners (Marketing COEs, Digital, Creative, Operations, Technology, Analytics, Legal, Risk/Compliance) and client teams.

  • Build and maintain a consistent operating rhythm (status updates, timelines, requirements gathering, approvals, launch readiness) to ensure smooth delivery of initiatives.

  • Own campaign workflow management: intake, documentation of requirements, creative trafficking, reviews/approvals, production handoffs, and launch confirmation.

  • Partner with Analytics to support campaign setup needs (audience selection requirements, segmentation inputs, measurement tagging) and to compile/read results for post-campaign recaps.

  • Support creative development and production by coordinating assets, revisions, routing, and final approvals with internal and/or external creative resources.

  • Ensure all campaigns adhere to Synchrony and client brand standards, operational controls, and legal/regulatory requirements; maintain documentation for audits and reviews.

  • Identify execution risks and issues early, escalate as needed, and drive resolution to protect launch dates and customer experience.

  • Support quarterly/annual planning processes by coordinating inputs, schedules, and documentation (execution-focused support).

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma/equivalent plus 9+ years of marketing experience within the credit card or financial services industry.

  • 5+ years of client-facing relationship management experience and/or retail client portfolio experience

  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external/client stakeholders to deliver marketing programs.

  • Good understanding of credit, payments, and digital marketing

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with competing deadlines.

  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required (~15%).

Grade/Level: 11

                                                                                      

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

                                 

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

At Synchrony, our way of working allows you to have the option to work from home near one of our Hubs or come into one of our offices. You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (either virtual or physical) for in-person engagement activities such as regular business or team meetings, training and culture events. 


*Field Sales and some Commercial team roles may have varied location requirements based upon partner obligations or preferences.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
