The Tidal Financial Group is a leading ETF investment technology platform dedicated to creating, operating, and growing ETFs. We combine expertise and innovative partnership approaches to offer comprehensive, value-generating ETF solutions.

Our platform offers best-in-class strategic guidance, product planning, trust and fund services, legal support, operations support, marketing and research, and sales and distribution services.

About the role

The AVP of Quantitative Growth will be one of the first hires on Tidal’s newly formed Growth Team - a small, execution-focused unit responsible for accelerating revenue and AUM through experimentation, automation, and operational firepower.

You’ll collaborate across business development, marketing, client success, and product to identify high-leverage growth opportunities and put them into action. This is a builder role for someone who prefers hands-on analysis, measurable KPIs, and direct impact over slide decks and theoretical planning.

You must have a strong foundation in data science, statistics, and coding, along with a genuine enthusiasm for financial markets and the future of investment platforms.

What you'll do

  • Find and Execute Growth Levers: Analyze workflows, customer behavior, and fund performance to identify the biggest opportunities to drive growth.
  • Launch Experiments: Design and execute A/B tests and pilots across marketing, onboarding, and advisor engagement. Own the process end to end.
  • Code and Automate: Write Python or R scripts, build reporting pipelines, and use automation to streamline insights and deliver results at scale.
  • Leverage AI: Utilize AI to develop predictive models, drive idea generation, and support asset growth.
  • Partner Across Teams: Collaborate with teams across CRO, client success, and marketing to bring high-impact ideas to life
  • Own Metrics That Matter: Define and track KPIs across initiatives, monitor progress, and continuously iterate to improve outcomes
  • Build Internal Tools and Reporting: Create dashboards, data products, or lightweight internal tools that enable growth across the platform.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in data science, analytics, or growth execution roles
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and working with structured datasets
  • Background in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or quantitative finance
  • Experience running A/B tests, interpreting results, and translating findings into action
  • Solid grasp of statistical modeling, experimentation, and performance analysis
  • Proven ability to define, track, and optimize growth KPIs
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools and automation to improve productivity and outcomes
  • A passion for financial markets and how data can drive real-world investment outcomes
  • Clear communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally and moving fast
  • Bonus: experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), internal tools, or data apps

Why You Should Take This Job

This is a rare opportunity to help build the growth engine behind one of the fastest-growing ETF platforms in the world. You’ll work on highly visible projects that have direct executive visibility and see the impact of your work on Tidal’s revenue. If you’re passionate about financial markets, love solving hard problems with data and code, and want to be part of a nimble, high-ownership team, this is your next role.

We are prioritizing candidates who are located within proximity to Chicago, IL; Milwaukee, WI; New York City, NY; and West Palm Beach, FL.
