This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in designing, deploying, and supporting advanced AV and broadcast systems. CSC is seeking a versatile and experienced Audio-Visual (AV) Engineer to join our dynamic Unified Communications team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in designing, deploying, and supporting advanced AV and broadcast systems. You'll help drive the evolution of our audiovisual and conferencing infrastructure-empowering high-quality experiences across meetings, events, media production, and live broadcasts.

What You'll Do
Media Production & Live Events
- Manage end-to-end workflows for media production, including live streaming for webinars, corporate events, and large-scale broadcasts.
- Operate and support broadcasting software (e.g., vMix, Wirecast, StudioBinder) and hardware (e.g., cameras, encoders, lighting).
- Ensure minimal latency and reliable streaming during live events.
System Design & Implementation
- Design, deploy, and support enterprise-grade AV systems, including conference rooms, production studios, and broadcast environments.
- Support the integration of collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Poly CVI, and Cisco AV systems.
- Review and comment on AV system designs, including rack elevations, mounting details, viewing angles, and CAD drawings.
Support & Troubleshooting
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize AV equipment (microphones, cameras, projectors, control systems, etc.).
- Support AV configurations at remote and off-site locations.
- Create testing and validation procedures to ensure systems meet business needs and technical requirements.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with AV integrators, managing technical relationships and installation oversight.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and AV workflow protocols.
Project Management & Strategy
- Participate in special projects such as system upgrades, office moves, and high-profile live events.
- Stay current with emerging AV and streaming technologies, recommending improvements and innovations.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing AV systems for enterprise environments and large-scale events.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot complex AV systems, both hardware and software.
- Strong knowledge of AV production hardware including encoders, lighting, and audio.
- Assist in translating business needs into AV solutions and managing technical deployments.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (highly preferred).
- Familiarity with Cisco conferencing platforms.
- Experience with AV broadcast tools such as vMix, Wirecast, StudioBinder.
- Certifications from industry leaders such as Cisco, Microsoft, Crestron
