The Attack Readiness Insights, Senior Analyst transforms security, risk, and operational data into actionable reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations that help stakeholders understand attack readiness, security posture, and remediation priorities. A successful candidate supports the delivery of trusted, intuitive, and data-driven insights for executive, risk, security, application-owner, and developer audiences.

Core Responsibilities

Reporting & Business Partnership

  • Partner with cybersecurity, technology, risk, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, business objectives, and key decisions requiring data-driven insights.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into analytical approaches, reporting solutions, dashboard enhancements, and actionable recommendations.
  • Support reporting projects from requirements gathering through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Present reporting results, trends, risks, and opportunities through dashboards, visualizations, written summaries, and presentations tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.

Dashboard Development & Visualization

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, reports, and visualizations using approved enterprise reporting platforms.
  • Apply visualization, usability, accessibility, and reporting best practices to improve stakeholder understanding and support decision-making.
  • Create prototypes, mockups, and dashboard concepts that validate reporting requirements and user needs.
  • Support the development and adoption of standardized reporting components, visualization patterns, and dashboard design practices.

Data Analysis & Quality Management

  • Acquire, compile, integrate, and analyze structured and unstructured data from approved enterprise sources.
  • Verify data quality, accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reasonableness and investigate discrepancies with appropriate partners.
  • Perform trend analysis, exploratory analysis, and descriptive analytics to identify meaningful insights, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support testing, validation, reconciliation, and quality-review activities to ensure reporting outputs accurately represent approved metrics and business definitions.

Reporting Operations & Process Management

  • Develop, maintain, and execute recurring reporting processes, dashboard refresh activities, and operational reporting schedules.
  • Produce high-quality ad hoc reports and analyses in response to emerging stakeholder needs and business questions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through reporting automation, process optimization, standardization, and reusable reporting assets.
  • Monitor dashboard and reporting performance, investigate issues, and implement enhancements that improve reporting quality, reliability, and usability.
  • Develop and maintain reporting documentation, metric definitions, user guides, and operational procedures.

Team Development & Knowledge Sharing

  • Share reporting, visualization, and analytical best practices with peers and junior analysts.
  • Support onboarding, training, and coaching efforts related to reporting tools, dashboard usage, data literacy, and visualization techniques.
  • Continuously develop expertise in cybersecurity reporting, attack readiness metrics, business intelligence, data visualization, and emerging reporting technologies.
  • Participate in reporting community forums, knowledge-sharing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in reporting, analytics, data visualization, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using enterprise reporting and analytics tools.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate business questions into reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity, vulnerability management, security operations, risk management, or technical control reporting.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent enterprise visualization platforms.
  • Familiarity with SQL, cloud-based data platforms, APIs, semantic models, and data governance practices.
  • Experience developing executive-facing dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Experience supporting reporting automation, dashboard modernization, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to security metrics, attack surface management, vulnerability management, or security posture reporting.
