Position Summary

The Associate Project Manager supports the Senior Program Manager in delivering game, platform and hardware programs. The role owns Agile PLM and the delivery of business-as-usual (BAU) game content, along with the day-to-day mechanics of project delivery: schedules, meeting cadence, action tracking and status reporting. That frees the Senior Program Manager to focus on strategy, stakeholder alignment and escalations. It is a development role with a clear path to Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agile PLM ownership: Act as the owner and administrator of Agile PLM for the portfolio. Keep game and product records, milestones, market and cabinet attributes, and change items accurate and current. Serve as the go-to contact for PLM questions, updates and user guidance.
  • BAU game content: Manage the business-as-usual game content pipeline from Dev Complete through SQA, Compliance, lab submission and release. Track dates, surface slips and blockers, and keep Product, Development and SQA aligned on the release schedule.
  • Schedules and plans: Build and maintain project schedules and trackers. Collect date updates from Development, SQA, Compliance and Product, and flag slips.
  • Meeting cadence: Schedule and facilitate recurring meetings (stand-ups, game status reviews, project team meetings). Publish agendas and minutes and follow up on actions.
  • RAID and action tracking: Maintain RAID logs and action registers. Chase owners, escalate overdue items and keep records audit-ready.
  • Data accuracy: Keep Agile PLM, JIRA and portfolio tools in sync. Run bulk updates and data checks so the same information isn’t tracked by hand in several places.
  • Reporting: Produce weekly dashboards, change reports, newsletters and SteerCo pre-reads for review by the Senior Program Manager.
  • Intake support: Triage requests on the intake board, confirm required information and product approval, and route items according to the intake process.
  • Hardware and logistics: Track hardware requests, procurement and lab equipment readiness with Supply Chain and IT.
  • Testing: Coordinate UAT and test logistics for projects the PMO supports.
  • Documentation: Draft and maintain SOPs, quick reference guides, training materials and SharePoint/Confluence content.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management or a PMO. Internships count.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and project fundamentals (schedules, RAID, status reporting).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint). Experience with Agile PLM (or a similar PLM system) and JIRA strongly preferred.
  • CAPM, PSM I or similar certification is a plus. Gaming or regulated-industry exposure preferred.

Key Competencies

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and reliable with follow-through.
  • Comfortable asking for updates and holding people to commitments professionally.
  • Clear written communicator. Produces accurate notes and reports quickly.
  • Curious, coachable and eager to learn new tools, including AI-assisted reporting.
