Your Impact
The Associate Product Manager assists with the process of defining product and product feature requirements and communicating those requirements to user experience (UX) and technology delivery teams. This includes using customer feedback, business strategy, data/analytics, and input from UX and technology teams to develop features that result in seamless customer experiences. With direction from more senior product management team members, this role owns the vision and success criteria for the specific feature(s) within scope of responsibility.

This opportunity is based at our on-site Tech Hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lowe's Tech Hub is an ultramodern work environment, complete with cutting-edge technology, collaborative workspaces, an on-site barista and Zen Garden, and other perks to enhance your work experience.
What You Will Learn
  • Works with peers to understand objectives and key results (OKRs) and operates inside a well-defined scope. Supports experienced product managers to understand vision and build OKRs that are aligned with business partners.
  • Works with more senior team members to review and design smaller scope features/stories, engaging in usability testing where appropriate.
  • Writes clear user stories to ensure delivery of high-quality features. Maps features to user value.
  • Participates in agile ceremonies and works with the team to provide clarity of expectations.
  • Influences feature deliverables. Influences the backlog for engineering team priorities to support small feature delivery. Drives incorporation of customer feedback into backlog.
  • Works with leads and senior managers in aligning necessary work from partners to achieve the value of the features.
  • Participates in product marketing and uses it to drive deep understanding of a defined scope of features. Provides data for a defined scope of features and partners with leads and senior managers to help drive alignment.
  • Seeks to provide input while partnering with leads and senior managers to define objectives and data required for analytics needed, and to develop functional and technical OKRs/metrics and create corresponding data/analytics to track the health and business impact.
  • Consistently monitors health of the product for pre-determined key metrics.
  • Partners with engineering to build tracking/monitoring needed to get to the data for a defined scope of features.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of coursework or program focused on software development or related skills (e.g., technology related college coursework, bootcamp, certification program, coding academy)

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or related field
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • 1 year of experience in product management, project management, product design, business analysis, program management, product marketing, experimentation or related area
  • Experience with a Big 4 consulting firm
  • Strong financial acumen
