In this role, you will:
- Support the Fixed Income Strategies Team's portfolio management, client servicing, and operational processes
- Partner with the portfolio management team in security selection, research and risk management mandates
- Receive direction from senior staff and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of Investment management function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Participate with managers in constructing portfolios that are consistent with the assigned strategies
- Contribute to portfolio positioning aligned with macroeconomic trends and fixed income market conditions
- 6+ months of experience in Wealth Investment Portfolio Management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Successfully completed FINRA Series 65 exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents, such as active Chartered Financial Analyst designation)
- Investment management knowledge and understanding of the fixed income markets
- Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and or BondEdge
- Experience utilizing AI to enhance workflows
- Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. Registration for FINRA Series 65 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
- Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
