Responsibilities

The Technology Experience Communications Lead will lead internal communications efforts to drive technology rollouts and internal experience initiatives, focusing on awareness and reinforcement. As a key member of the Technology Communications team, you will ensure a cohesive and integrated communication strategy.

With an attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture and connect dots, the Associate Director will ensure communications are clear, consistent and strategically aligned to the company’s business objectives. They will navigate a highly-matrixed structure, collaborate with colleagues across many business units.

Key Objectives/ Deliverables
  • Develop and implement communication plans to drive awareness of new and existing technologies and platforms, highlighting the impact on the employee’s experience.
  • Partner closely with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team and collaborate with other communications leads to build and implement effective change communications strategies with demonstrable value.
  • Serve as the point of contact for AI-related enterprise internal communications, aligning with Lilly's overall AI OCM strategy.
  • Create engaging content and communication materials to enhance the employee experience, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
  • Establish and track key communication metrics to measure effectiveness and impact, using data-driven insights to help inform and persuade a wide range of audiences.
  • Provide strategic counsel, ensuring alignment with business objectives and global communications.
  • Develop high-level thought leadership content and executive communication materials to position Lilly as an AI innovator.
  • Analyze communication using data analytics and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement, leveraging AI communication tools.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience in a communications, public relations or related role.
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.
Strong Preferences
  • Extensive experience in internal communications and internal engagement within a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of technology rollouts and change management, with a focus on driving internal adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent content creation and storytelling skills, with the ability to create engaging and impactful communication materials.
  • Ability to build partnerships with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Superb communication skills – including verbal, written and presentation skills.

Additional Information
  • Domestic travel is required a few times annually.
  • Indianapolis-based is strongly preferred. Hybrid work schedule allowed.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$122,250 - $179,300

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
