Job DescriptionThe Associate Director, Corporate Communications plays a key role in developing and executing our Care Center and Corporate communications strategy to engage stakeholders, enhance the company’s reputation, and support business objectives. This role requires someone who can think and act both strategically and tactically, is a strong and reliable communicator, a self-starter, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will embrace the challenges and opportunities of working within a dynamic company in the complex healthcare industry.

Primary Job Duties
Manage team members in deploying their talents effectively. Encourage high performance and create opportunities for development, including increased accountability and encouraging self-guided development.
Manage the day-to-day operations of, and support the execution of the team’s strategy related to the Care Center, employee, and corporate audiences.
Work closely with Privia teams such as Payer Relations and Business Development to develop strategic communications plans and messaging that aligns with company priorities.
Oversee Privia’s social media presence by developing innovative campaigns, measuring performance and managing the editorial calendar.
Partner with Sr. Director, Communications on the execution of media opportunities in conjunction with Privia’s PR firm.
Identify opportunities for better communications with internal and external audiences, including establishing new channels, testing content strategies, and using data to drive decisions.
Support physician leadership with national and regional public affairs and advocacy efforts to further the goals of value-based care and the practice of medicine
Monitor and analyze communication efforts to measure effectiveness and impact. Provide regular leadership reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, English, or Marketing preferred
- 8+ years of communications, project management experience
- 5+ years of supervisory experience managing team members
- Strong writing and editing skills is a must
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Healthcare industry knowledge preferred
- Insurance payers and/or public affairs experience is a plus
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
The salary range for this role is $104,000.00 to $115,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% and restricted stock units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
