JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

About Rocketfuel Entertainment
Rocketfuel Entertainment is an entertainment and talent business under Astro Malaysia, bringing together artists, creators, music, content and commercial opportunities to connect brands with audiences through culture and entertainment.

We are looking for a Sales Executive who is passionate about entertainment, brands and people, and who is excited by the opportunity to create meaningful commercial partnerships.

What you will do:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across brands, agencies and clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media agencies and business partners.
  • Actively prospect for new clients and generate a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Understand client objectives and recommend suitable Rocketfuel Entertainment solutions across talent, music, content, digital and entertainment platforms.
  • Prepare sales proposals, presentations and commercial packages tailored to client needs.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Talent, Content, Video, Marketing and Operations to develop and execute campaigns.
  • Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through to proposal, negotiation, closing and campaign handover.
  • Achieve individual revenue and sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities within the entertainment and advertising industry.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities and client information.
  • Ensure strong client servicing and follow-up throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, networking events and industry engagements.

REQUIREMENTS:

Who are you:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of sales, business development, media, advertising, marketing or related experience.
  • Strong interest in entertainment, music, talent, digital content and brands.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Commercially driven with a strong desire to achieve targets.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple internal teams.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic entertainment environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and presentation tools.
