JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

About Rocketfuel Entertainment

Rocketfuel Entertainment is an entertainment and talent business under Astro Malaysia, bringing together artists, creators, music, content and commercial opportunities to connect brands with audiences through culture and entertainment.

We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive who can drive revenue growth, build strategic client relationships and develop innovative commercial opportunities across Rocketfuel's entertainment ecosystem.

What you will do:

  • Drive new business development and revenue growth across key brands, agencies and clients.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of clients and agency relationships.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for integrated brand partnerships across talent, music, content, digital and entertainment.
  • Develop strategic sales proposals and customised solutions based on client marketing objectives.
  • Lead client pitches, presentations and commercial negotiations.
  • Own the sales process from prospecting and opportunity development through to closing and campaign handover.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual revenue and sales targets.
  • Develop strong relationships with decision-makers across brands, media agencies and marketing organisations.
  • Work closely with Talent, Content, Video, Marketing and Operations teams to develop compelling commercial solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell across Rocketfuel's products, talent and entertainment properties.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, client spending and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline and provide regular business forecasts.
  • Ensure excellent client servicing and contribute towards long-term client retention.
  • Represent Rocketfuel Entertainment at industry events, networking sessions and client engagements.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the sales team where required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Who you are:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, media, advertising, marketing, entertainment or related industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong network and relationships within brands, agencies or the advertising/media industry would be an advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert business opportunities.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and pitching skills.
  • Ability to develop creative commercial solutions that meet both client and business objectives.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly driven, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about entertainment, music, talent, content and popular culture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
