The Assistant Project Manager – Scheduling supports project teams with scheduling, coordination, reporting, and project controls for utility-scale solar, BESS, and electrical construction projects. This role will help maintain project schedules, track milestones, identify delays, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractors, and field teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with development and maintenance of detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar software.
  • Update schedules based on project progress and field reports.
  • Track critical path activities, milestones, and schedule performance.
  • Identify potential delays and assist with developing recovery plans.
  • Coordinate schedule updates with Project Managers, Construction Managers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports and project status updates.
  • Track engineering, procurement, permitting, equipment deliveries, and construction activities.
  • Maintain project documentation and scheduling records.
  • Assist with project meetings, action items, and follow-up.
  • Support change management, forecasting, and project controls activities.
  • Perform other project management duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in construction, project management, scheduling, or project controls.
  • Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or comparable scheduling software preferred.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Construction, utility, solar, BESS, electrical, or EPC experience preferred.
