Responsibilities include managing operations according to facility policies, nursing standards, and regulations; collaborating with residents, families, staff, physicians, vendors, and referral sources; and providing leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational support. A current RN license is required, while long-term care and supervisory experience are preferred.
White Oak of Shelby is seeking a motivated RN to fill our Assistant Director of Nursing position. The ADON helps to oversee the nursing department for our skilled nursing facility. This is a full time salaried position

Our nurse managers excel in their roles and provide consistent and valuable support for the Director of Nursing.
- The ideal candidate is flexible, innovative, and exhibits strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills
- Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors
- Assists in coordinating and managing overall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies
- Qualifications include a current RN license, excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and work well with others
- Long term care and supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledgeable in the interpretation of Federal, State, and local regulations relating to long-term care facilities
