Pay Scale: 50k
Summary: The Application Integration Specialist II is responsible for independently designing, building, and maintaining advanced electronic forms and documentation workflows within the EHR system. This position works closely with clinical and operational teams to identify documentation challenges, build logic that supports accurate data capture, and improve workflow efficiency. The Specialist II contributes to system improvements that support regulatory compliance and quality outcomes and may lead form development projects under guidance from senior IT or clinical leaders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement logic-driven forms that support compliance, accuracy, and documentation efficiency
- Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to evaluate current workflows and recommend enhancements
- Test and refine complex form logic, scoring systems, or data integrations
- Maintain documentation of forms, including version control and change logs
- Support clinical and administrative initiatives tied to quality reporting, compliance, and workflow redesign
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

- Ability to independently design and maintain advanced EHR forms with logic to support clinical workflows and data integrity
- Understanding of clinical documentation practices and how they support compliance with quality programs such as UDS, HEDIS, or MIPS
- Ability to apply structured coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED) to support form logic and reporting accuracy
- Familiarity with common care gaps and documentation challenges in a behavioral health or medical environment
- Ability to identify and resolve inconsistencies in form workflows, logic outputs, or data capture
- Working knowledge of interoperability standards and how external data sources (labs, HIEs, claims) may affect quality scores
- Effective communication skills to gather requirements, explain technical solutions, and train or support users as needed
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in healthcare EHR form development or integration
- Proficiency in workflow consultation and clinical form design required
