Job Overview

The Analyst – Procurement Operations (Strategic Sourcing and Procurement) supports procurement activities by analyzing data, assisting with sourcing initiatives, and maintaining procurement systems and processes. This role contributes to cost optimization, operational efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives, including market research, supplier identification, RFP development, bid analysis, and contract negotiation activities.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, trends, and areas for process improvement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement activities with organizational goals.
  • Maintain procurement systems and tools, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
  • Support vendor performance management by tracking metrics, coordinating business reviews, and assisting in issue resolution.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on procurement performance, activities, and key metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Provide operational support for procurement processes, including purchase order processing and invoice reconciliation.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives assigned by procurement leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or financial operations.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis (e.g., pivot tables, lookup functions).
  • Ability to analyze data sets and produce reports to support business decisions.
  • Experience supporting procurement processes such as sourcing, purchase orders, or vendor management.

Preferences

  • Experience with procurement systems such as Ariba, Coupa, or SAP.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry, including financial services.
  • Familiarity with procurement policy development or process improvement initiatives.

Pay Range:

$59,843.00 - $99,807.00
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
