Job Overview: 

The Analyst, OPMG - Overlay Evolution & Development oversees small-to-medium-scale projects for the Overlay Portfolio Management Group. This will include but is not limited to maintaining advisory product backlogs, working closely with Technology, Product and Vendors to prioritize and communicate business needs, testing functionality of the trading platforms, and analyzing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Provide project management support by tracking project timelines, coordinating with Product, Technology and QA teams, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule. 
  • Represent the business in design reviews of small to medium scale projects and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems. 
  • Collaborate closely with OPMG leadership and team members to better understand the product requirements or in case the design requires any kind of modifications. 
  • Analyze business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization. 
  • Lead backlog grooming sessions ahead of sprint planning/vendor releases. 
  • Help establish and maintain the Product Roadmap. 
  • Coordinate end-user validation and provide support during the software development lifecycle. 
  • Develop training materials and documentation for internal teams or external users to ensure effective use of products offered on our platforms. 
  • Assist with testing of new features, identifying and documenting bugs, usability issues, and edge cases that require attention. 
  • Build high-quality PowerPoint presentations for various audiences, including internal stakeholders and external clients. 
  • Provide timely and concise information communication to all appropriate internal and external stakeholders through various communication channels.

Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience  
  • 2+ years of experience working in the financial or technology industry. 
  • Experience with MS- Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence

  • Knowledge of advisory managed accounts 
  • Possess aptitude for prioritizing, multitasking, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision. 
  • Great organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset. 
  • Desire to learn and grow as well as help others learn and grow. 
  • Experience in portfolio management and securities trading operations. 
  • Experience in Quality Assurance and Control, QA/QC Testing, and Operational improvement and control 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

Preferences: 

  • BETA 
  • Excel Macros or SQL 

 

Pay Range:

$29.51-$49.19/hour
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
