The HRIS Analyst is responsible for assisting in  the day to day support and of the HRIS structure. The primary focus of this position is assisting in the support of configuration, project plans and day to day maintenance of the human resource information system (HRMS) and the HRIS Manager. This position provides operational support to the HRIS Manager and the business subject matter experts and ensures data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Analyst will also take on tasks assigned by the HRIS Manager in any ongoing Enhancement and Development efforts.

What You'll Be Up To:

  • Will provide operational support for the delivery of various HR System projects and HR analysis on different HRIS processes. The objective is to gather data, build, develop and design HR Systems based upon company needs.

  • Supporting the administration, configuration and maintenance of all HR systems

  • Will assist with project plans for implementations, configurations for departmental key stakeholders, external departments and vendors

  • Will be a key point of contact for HR system support company-wide

  • Liaise between HR and other key business stakeholders on any system related initiatives

  • Assist in the design and maintenance of all system training plans and system launch information

  • Gather, create and configure reports for analytics for HR based metrics

  • Help Prepare materials and facilitate training for end users with regard to system related launches or enhancements

  • Track and assist with planning for updates and enhancements being launched in the system-based products used at Virgin Voyages and innovative approaches of competitors

  • Other duties as assigned

Superpowers Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, related field or equivalent work

  • Experience with HR terminology, regulations, operations, procedures, requirements and practices

  • Strong problem solving and with a creative and innovative approach for solution thinking is a must

  • Proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets is a must

  • 3+ years of HRIS, HR Generalist or Specialist experience

  • 3+ years of working with Human Resource Data

  • 2+ Years of experience with Workday configuration and analysis Required, specifically with business processes in the HCM and Recruitment Modules are a must

  • 1+ year of experience in Reporting and Calculated fields are a must

  • Experience with Workday Learning, Benefits or Payroll are preferred  

  • 6+ months of experience with MarineExchange (MXP) highly preferred

  • 1 year of project management experience  Required

  • Strong working knowledge of system speak and HR workflows

  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written

  • Highly collaborative in team-based environment as well as ability to work independently
