As AI Transformation Director, Marketing, you will set and drive marketing's AI adoption strategy and decide where AI can create the most value for marketing, then making sure those ideas become solutions people use. This is a strategy-and-delivery role: you'll prioritize where to invest, choose the right internal and external partners to build with, and stay close enough to execution to make sure what ships solves the problem and gets adopted. You'll operate within the firm's AI governance model and treat every deployment as a chance to make the next one faster and easier.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with individual marketing teams to understand their workflows and pain points, scoping and prioritizing the highest-value AI use cases
  • Act as a de facto product manager: write requirements, design flows/process maps, and produce specs clear enough for internal teams and external vendors to build against
  • Guide initiatives through the full delivery cycle including intake, build, testing, and rollout, plus staying aligned with the firm's AI governance requirements throughout
  • Evaluate the external vendor/product landscape and own build/buy/partner recommendations and decisions within marketing's AI budget
  • Champion a test-and-learn approach, including piloting and experimenting before full launch, rather than going straight to scale
  • Turn what works into repeatable templates and a scaling approach for marketing — covering ownership, change management, and adoption — so each new initiative takes less time than the last
  • Own the AI roadmap for marketing, including budget planning, ongoing budget management, and governance reporting to leadership, supported by business cases and ROI models for major AI investments
  • Continuously track emerging AI capabilities and vendor developments to keep marketing's AI strategy ahead of the curve, rather than only reacting to current requests
  • Keep marketing's AI initiatives aligned with the AI Council's governance standards, and partner with marketing analytics to validate solutions before they scale
  • Spot and escalate data governance concerns — such as access permissions or conflicting data sources — in marketing's AI work before they become production problems

What You Will Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in digital, product, strategy, or workflow transformation roles within a complex technology or professional services organization, with a proven track record of redesigning how teams work and driving measurable business outcomes
  • Genuine, active engagement with AI tools and the vendor landscape — you track what's emerging and have a point of view on how it applies to marketing
  • Experience working directly with senior stakeholders, with the executive presence to translate ambiguous or complex problems into clear, credible recommendations
  • Comfortable building structure and a path forward in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, with strong judgment on risk and prioritization
  • Demonstrated experience translating AI capabilities into deployed, adopted solutions that measurably changed how a team or function operated
  • Comfort operating inside a structured governance model, balancing speed with enterprise-scale discipline
