We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support our regulatory licensing efforts and broader people compliance operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely, accurate regulatory filings, maintaining compliance tracking and reporting (including training metrics), and supporting day-to-day operational coordination, including East Coast collaboration spaces and ad hoc people administration.

The ideal candidate is a detail oriented, proactive, systems-minded operator who understands the importance of complying with deadlines and is comfortable working with large volumes of sensitive data, leveraging technology (including AI tools), and improving processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Gaming and Regulatory Licensing Support

  • Support preparation and submission of regulatory and licensing filings across multiple jurisdictions

  • Track application status, renewal deadlines, and ongoing compliance requirements

  • Maintain and organize electronic records, including licenses, correspondence, and regulatory documentation

  • Partner cross-functionally (Legal, Compliance, Finance, People, and Executive Teams, as well as Socure’s board of directors) to collect and validate information required for filings

  • Partner with executive stakeholders to gather time-sensitive inputs, communicating with clarity, precision, and strong judgment while minimizing demands on their time

  • Interface with regulators and external partners as needed to support application processes

  • Perform data entry and quality control across internal systems and external regulatory portals

  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and internal systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of compliance workflows

  • Assist with process improvement and documentation to streamline filing and tracking workflows

People Compliance & Operational Support

  • Track and report on employee compliance training completion, including monitoring deadlines and following up with stakeholders

  • Maintain documentation and records related to internal compliance programs and employee acknowledgments

  • Support ad hoc people administration tasks (e.g., onboarding/offboarding coordination, data updates, documentation)

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of East Coast collaboration spaces, partnering with Workplace teams as needed

  • Serve as a point of contact for collaboration space usage, ensuring a smooth employee experience

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, legal, or compliance support role

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines

  • High attention to detail, particularly in document review and data entry

  • Experience working with sensitive or confidential information

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), comfort utilizing AI tools and learning new tools quickly

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, including executives, with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and follow-through

  • A self-starter with sound judgment, high integrity, and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting regulatory, licensing, or compliance functions (gaming, fintech, or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred)

  • Familiarity with multi-state licensing processes

  • Legal Assistant or Paralegal certification (nice to have, not required)

Additional Attributes

  • Able to work independently while coordinating across multiple teams

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage shifting deadlines

  • Process-minded, with an interest in improving efficiency and scalability
