We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, has a strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounts payable processes. This role is crucial to maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and supporting our procurement workflows. This role requires the ability to exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting. Experience with Ramp, NetSuite, and procurement workflows is highly preferred.
What you’ll do:- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from receipt of invoices to payment processing, including weekly check processing
- Review, verify, and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
- Process a high volume of invoices efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain and update vendor information, ensuring all documentation is current.
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely invoice approvals.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Support and improve procurement workflows and processes.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, as well as Google Sheets
- Experience with Ramp and NetSuite is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and systems is a significant plus.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly.
