The Finance Associate II reports to the Assistant Manager, Accounting and supports the finance team in its daily operations including transaction processing, communicating with customers and internal personnel, and managing administrative tasks to ensure the department runs smoothly.
Responsibilities- Responsible for general administrative tasks in the Finance Department.
- Must learn and develop appropriate knowledge of the auction/client database as well as internal reports and databases.
- Set up and maintain suppliers and client ACH information in accounting software and validate.
- Manage accounting team email inboxes daily including responding to internal/external inquiries and flagging for appropriate team members for action. Research and respond to payment inquiries.
- Assist in the tax removal process by adjusting invoices and preparing refund information.
- Prepare month end reconciliations during our monthly close process.
- Perform other finance operational duties as assigned and assist in backing up teammates.
Education/ Experience:
- Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred, or 1 – 3 years of related work experience.
- Proficient in standard computer software and Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with Oracle is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Great organizational skills and ability to be detail-oriented required.
- Must be able to demonstrate a cooperative spirit while supporting both internal and external customers. Must provide excellent customer service in a timely manner.

- Must be able to perform duties at department standards while working from home.

Pay & Benefits:
Compensation is determined by various factors such as location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal and external equity and organizational needs. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
The salary range for this position is $19.6 to $23.5 hourly. The posted range reflects our national average range for the job. We may ultimately pay more or less than the published range based on the factors mentioned above. This range may be modified in the future.
