Sell Teamworks EMR and Strength & Conditioning products to non-DI college performance staff. Build territory pipeline, lead practitioner-level discovery with athletic trainers and S&C coaches, partner on onboarding and renewals, and demonstrate practical value to budget-conscious programs.
The summary above was generated by AI

I'm Nick Walsh, Head of Performance Sales at Teamworks. The Non-DI college performance market is one of the fastest-growing, most underserved segments in sports technology, and we're building a dedicated commercial motion to go after it the right way. Division II and Division III environments operate differently than their DI counterparts. Budgets are leaner, staff wear multiple hats, and the technology decisions often fall to the person doing the work, the S&C coach managing athlete loads in the morning and entering injury notes in the afternoon.

This role is built around two of Teamworks' highest-impact products in the performance space, our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform and our Strength & Conditioning product. You'll be selling to practitioners, not procurement, which means your background matters as much as your pitch.

The Role
  • Own a defined territory across non-DI college with a primary focus on EMR and S&C product lines

  • Lead practitioner-level conversations with Head of Performance, Head Athletic Trainers, S&C Coaches, Sports Medicine staff, and program administrators

  • Build pipeline from the ground up, leveraging your existing network, conference presence, and referral relationships

  • Conduct needs-based discovery that speaks to the real operational pressures facing non-DI performance departments

  • Partner with the Customer Success team on onboarding, early adoption, and renewal conversations within your accounts

What I'm Looking ForWhat You Must Bring
  • Firsthand experience using EMR software, injury documentation, return-to-play tracking, athlete health records, either as a user or administrator

  • Direct, hands-on experience working in a non-DI college sports performance environment, as an Athletic Trainer, S&C Coach, Sports Medicine professional, or similar role, because you'll be selling to practitioners who expect you to have lived their world

  • Practical understanding of how S&C departments operate, program design, load monitoring, athlete management, and the data infrastructure that supports it

  • Comfortable selling to budget-conscious buyers who need to see clear, immediate value

Even Better If
  • You have prior sales or account management experience

  • You bring an existing network and credibility within the non-DI practitioner community

Why This Role

The non-DI market is underserved and underestimated. These programs face the same performance demands as their DI counterparts, with a fraction of the resources and far less purpose-built technology to support them. This role gives you the ability to work across many schools and colleges as a genuine performance leader in college sports, connecting real solutions to the people who need them most.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship at this time.
