What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.
Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.
This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.
Internship responsibilities may include:
Gain familiarity with property tax in a large corporate environment. Projects will include assisting with property tax compliance, controversy, accounting and planning.
  • Property tax interns will work with team members in analyzing property tax assessments, ensuring property tax bills are paid timely, assist with the annual property tax budget process, respond to inquiries from property tax collectors and assessors and support the audit team with any ongoing property tax audits.

Required qualifications
  • Must be a rising junior or rising senior with an expected graduation date between of May 2028 to May 2029
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong research, analytical, interpretation, and presentation skills (written and verbal)
