Improve data quality, observability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency while supporting risk, finance, product, analytics, and AI initiatives. Partner cross-functionally, influence architecture, lead complex technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and establish strong engineering practices including testing, CI/CD, governance, and infrastructure automation.

Own funding structure and SPV accounting, securitization transaction accounting, recurring close, reconciliations, trustee and investor reporting, financial statement support, and internal controls. Oversee treasury, payroll, and compensation accounting while partnering with cross-functional teams on audits, process improvements, automation, and finance operations scaling. The role requires strong US GAAP expertise, structured finance experience, and the ability to lead complex accounting initiatives.

Leads analytics strategy for Zip’s emerging financial products, from market sizing and launch readiness through adoption, retention, risk, and unit economics. Partners with Product, Finance, Risk, and Operations leaders to define metrics, build scalable dbt models and reporting frameworks, analyze customer and portfolio behavior, and guide strategic decisions. Establishes SQL and analytics standards, mentors analysts, and translates complex findings into recommendations for executives.
