The Development Manager advances fundraising strategy, donor acquisition, stewardship, and philanthropic revenue growth in Charlotte. Responsibilities include managing a donor portfolio, supervising a Development Coordinator, maintaining donor data and fundraising systems, using reports to guide strategy, and managing campaigns and fundraising events. The role also supports annual development planning, corporate sponsorship obligations, volunteer programs, donor engagement, and achievement of measurable fundraising goals through relationships with individuals, foundations, corporations, volunteers, and community partners.

Provides consulting, coaching, research, and operational analysis to public child welfare agencies. Leads practice-improvement projects across multiple sites, develops policies and resources, analyzes performance data, identifies improvement opportunities, coordinates stakeholders, and presents recommendations to agency and organizational leaders. Builds relationships with child welfare professionals and supports system-level improvements benefiting children and families.
