Oversees federal, state, local, premium, international, and transfer-pricing matters; tax provisions, accruals, reconciliations, audits, and regulatory filings. Partners with accounting, legal, treasury, parent-company teams, and external advisors while managing tax research, process documentation, and tax-related financial calculations. Requires substantial P&C insurance tax experience, leadership capability, and strong collaboration skills.

Provides corporate legal counsel across governance, contracts, regulatory compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, employment, tax, technology, vendor management, and insurance operations. Responsibilities include supporting boards and shareholders, reviewing audit materials, managing vendor contracts, advising on transactions and M&A, preparing regulatory filings, developing compliance programs, and guiding risk management. The role requires practical business advice, strong legal analysis, leadership, negotiation, communication, and 10–15 years of counsel experience, ideally in insurance or reinsurance.
