Teams at Truss

Build, secure, and operate AWS infrastructure supporting AI services and federal applications. Deploy and manage production AI capabilities, cloud-native applications, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, containers, identity and access controls, secrets, monitoring, logging, and observability. Develop data pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions. Establish reusable AI infrastructure patterns, support multiple application teams, troubleshoot issues, and meet security, privacy, and data-retention obligations.

Build application interfaces and backend services for a federal government client. Collaborate within an agile, remote-first team; participate in client meetings, continuous delivery, code reviews, and DevOps practices. Strong communication and adaptive collaboration are expected. The role requires 35 hours weekly, core availability from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET, and travel to Baltimore twice annually.

Conduct mixed-method user research, synthesize findings, and translate insights into stakeholder-ready recommendations. Design complex form-based workflows, user journeys, service experiences, and prototypes for web and enterprise systems. Communicate design rationale, manage stakeholder relationships, collaborate with agile cross-functional and external development teams, and support accessible, plain-language government services. The role is fully remote, client-facing, and may involve Salesforce design work and consulting engagements.
