Provides administrative client support for daily freight transportation operations. Tracks carrier pickups and deliveries, enters shipment data into a transportation management system, reports timing variances, requests documentation, directs carriers to web portals, and answers shipping-related inquiries. The role builds relationships with clients and vendors and requires accurate data entry, clear communication, customer service skills, and basic computer proficiency.

Provides analytical and relationship-management support for assigned freight clients. Reviews client and carrier performance, identifies cost savings and routing optimization opportunities, tracks open requests, conducts monthly business reviews, supports client retention, and promotes additional services. The role analyzes transportation and financial data, presents recommendations, manages client satisfaction, and helps optimize operational costs while maintaining service quality.

Lead and develop the Preferred Client Services team, own portfolio health and retention, drive upsell identification, ensure operational execution and KPI ownership, standardize reporting and processes, and partner cross-functionally to improve client outcomes and scalability. Role includes escalation management, monthly reviews, and continuous improvement.

The Account Manager collaborates with clients, analyzes data for cost savings, conducts reviews, and provides training to internal staff, ensuring client satisfaction and promoting efficiencies.

Sell NTG freight brokerage services by prospecting customers, securing carriers, quoting loads, collaborating with operations, and building customer relationships to grow a personal book of business.

Develops and supports logistics solutions throughout the sales cycle. Assesses prospects’ supply chains, documents current and future states, analyzes data, coordinates cross-functional teams, designs transportation and TMS solutions, develops pricing strategies, and supports presentations and technology demonstrations. Requires consultative selling, supply chain expertise, project management, client communication, and the ability to manage complex solutions for senior decision-makers.

Responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies for enterprise clientele, enhancing client relationships, and leveraging technological solutions in the transportation sector.
