Teams at Thompson Child and Family Focus

Provides trauma-informed wraparound support for youth and families by helping them navigate child-serving systems, understand needs and goals, build healthy relationships, manage stress and conflict, and develop positive social skills. The role involves collaboration with child welfare, education, behavioral health, juvenile justice, healthcare, and school systems across multiple counties, with remote work and occasional office commuting.

Provides psychiatric oversight, clinical governance, and administrative supervision for North Carolina youth and family programs. Ensures treatment quality, regulatory compliance, evidence-based practices, high-risk case oversight, and medical necessity documentation. Works alongside a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, participates in key meetings, and shares rotating after-hours on-call coverage.
