Designs, prototypes, tests, and validates cooling products including chillers and CDUs. Responsibilities include refrigeration, thermal, and hydronic calculations; prototype construction; lab and performance testing; test-data analysis; component selection; design documentation; manufacturing transition support; and incorporating field feedback into product improvements.

Reviews cooling-system drawings and submittals for equipment selection, capacity, and hydronic configuration accuracy. Collaborates with customer and consulting engineers, supports estimating with technical proposal input, and provides engineering assistance to project managers and customers throughout installation and startup. Resolves technical questions, drawing conflicts, RFIs, and submittals, while feeding field experience into research and product development. The role focuses on data center cooling systems, including chillers, CDUs, and liquid cooling for AI and hyperscale deployments.

Create 3D SolidWorks models of cooling machines and mechanical piping systems from schematics. Develop assembly, fabrication, installation, and IOM documentation; maintain AutoCAD schematics, templates, component properties, and product lifecycle data. The role requires expertise in refrigerant and chilled-water distribution systems, mechanical design, manufacturing and fabrication processes, and detailed technical documentation.

Manage supplier and contract manufacturer relationships, sourcing intelligence, purchase orders, pricing and lead-time data, shipment tracking, and supply chain risk. The role supports ERP and PLM systems, supplier negotiations, international sourcing, manufacturing schedules, engineering changes, and procurement analytics while collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Compliance, and Finance. Remote work requires up to 20% travel to supplier and manufacturing sites.

Administers ThermalWorks’ environmental, health, and safety program across construction, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and data center projects. Responsibilities include permit and pre-task reviews, field inspections, lockout/tagout and confined-space audits, training and certification tracking, incident investigation, OSHA/EPA recordkeeping, corrective-action management, emergency response, and regulatory and host-site coordination. The role exercises stop-work authority and requires extensive travel to field locations.

Coordinate domestic and international shipments, maintain shipping documentation and tracking, communicate with carriers and partners, support scheduling, proof-of-delivery and recordkeeping, and assist with logistics projects and continuous improvement in a remote environment.

Support the Compliance Officer by managing product regulatory documentation, coordinating third‑party certification, reviewing engineering changes for compliance impacts, maintaining PLM/ERP records, liaising with certification bodies and contract manufacturers, and supporting cross‑functional compliance activities across North America and the EU.
