Leads enterprise-wide expense management, including governance, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, controls, allocations, and expense oversight. Partners with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, HR, PMO, and business leaders to improve cost discipline, support GAAP and statutory reporting, track project and M&A spending, and drive process automation. Manages and develops the Expense Management team while advising senior leadership on cost drivers and financial performance.

Supports investment accounting, financial reporting, portfolio analysis, reconciliations, regulatory filings, derivative accounting, audit support, and internal controls for a life insurance investment portfolio. Prepares GAAP and statutory schedules, analyzes investment performance, contributes to management and board reporting, and drives process and reporting improvements while partnering with investment operations, treasury, actuarial, risk, tax, auditors, and external managers.

Leads enterprise treasury strategy, liquidity and capital planning, debt management, banking relationships, funding, collateral management, and treasury risk oversight. Partners with Finance, Investments, Risk, Actuarial, Corporate Development, and executives on capital allocation, balance-sheet optimization, financing transactions, forecasting, governance, and regulatory requirements. Presents analyses to executives, boards, regulators, rating agencies, and auditors while guiding treasury technology and service-provider initiatives.
