Conduct thorough investigations of suspected auto insurance fraud, including document review, interviews, vendor coordination, Examinations Under Oath, and court testimony. Mentor junior investigators, advise claims team on fraud issues, contribute to SIU best practices, and support state fraud compliance and process improvements.

Leads Root’s Telematics Technology engineering domain, overseeing telematics data platforms, feature stores, trip pipelines, APIs, and customer-facing experiences. Responsibilities include setting technical strategy and roadmaps, partnering with Data Science, Pricing, and Underwriting, managing and developing engineering teams, recruiting, guiding distributed-system architecture, and improving reliability, observability, scalability, delivery processes, and production stability. The role also drives AI-tool adoption and may oversee production machine-learning systems.

Build and scale full-stack platforms for independent insurance agents, with a front-end focus. Develop, test, deploy, monitor, and support resilient software solutions; collaborate with Design, Product, engineering teammates, and business stakeholders; investigate customer problems; resolve production incidents; document work; and improve code and development processes.
