Provides frontline engagement and operational support at a homeless services day center. Responsibilities include triaging needs, connecting neighbors with resources, conducting campus walkthroughs, documenting incidents, enforcing policies, de-escalating conflicts, responding to overdoses, supporting campus logistics, and coordinating with staff and service partners. The role requires trauma-informed communication, harm-reduction knowledge, sound judgment, and comfort working with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and substance use issues.

Supports daily shelter operations in a trauma-informed, person-centered environment. Provides basic-needs assistance, explains program requirements, coordinates beds and routines, monitors facility safety, communicates with guests and service partners, documents incidents and shift activities, enters data in HMIS, and performs housekeeping and other assigned duties. Requires compassion, flexibility, sound judgment under pressure, and willingness to work variable shifts and locations.

Provide case management to approximately 24 formerly chronically homeless tenants in supportive housing. Conduct home visits, assess medical, psychiatric, and substance-use needs, connect participants with community services, support lease compliance and landlord relations, maintain client records, and respond to emergencies and behavioral crises using de-escalation techniques.

Manages office administration and operational support for supportive housing and rapid rehousing programs. Responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, maintaining tenant and rent records, supporting grant management, coordinating events and bus passes, managing the vehicle fleet, assisting with technology and file organization, and producing HMIS, APR, ROI, and compliance reports. The role also provides administrative assistance to staff, tenants, finance, and program directors.

Provides direct basic services to people experiencing homelessness at a day services center, including lunch assistance, laundry, showers, mail distribution, donation intake, and service data entry. Greets and guides guests, supports volunteers and community groups, uses de-escalation techniques, communicates concerns to supervisors, and participates in training. The role requires weekend and possible holiday work, prolonged standing, and lifting 25–30 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Provides strategic and clinical direction for an outreach program serving individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness. Supervises three employees, oversees housing-focused assessments and documentation, develops community clinics and partnerships, monitors data and program outcomes, manages the budget, supports volunteers, and represents the program in organizational and community settings. The role also maintains a small caseload, supports de-escalation and trauma-informed care, and provides leadership at the Day Services Center.

Engages tenants and volunteers within supportive housing programs by organizing community meetings, activities, outings, events, and donation initiatives. Builds relationships with tenants, volunteers, staff, donors, communications, and facilities teams. Maintains activity calendars, volunteer records in Virtuous CRM, event logistics, tenant communications, decorations, and welcome or holiday donations. Supports programming that promotes housing stability and requires frequent on-site collaboration, including evening and weekend availability.
