Provides complex legal and non-legal research support to lawyers, paralegals, and business staff. Conducts case law, statutory, regulatory, legislative, business, financial, SEC filing, news, and biographical research; summarizes findings; manages alerts and research requests; educates clients on resources; evaluates databases and emerging AI tools; maintains research guides and intranet materials; tracks workflow and bills time while protecting confidentiality.

Supports foreign patent filings, PCT and national-stage applications, docket management, foreign associate coordination, estimates, patent schedule reviews, disclosure documents, and multi-jurisdiction name-change projects. Maintains knowledge of U.S., PCT, and foreign patent rules, coordinates translations and other formalities, reports filing documents to clients, and manages application transfers. Requires strong organization, communication, confidentiality, technical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines independently in a law firm environment.

Manages and validates client, firm, matter, and timekeeper billing rates within the finance system. Implements rate arrangements, discounts, and cost exceptions; monitors expirations; reviews client guidelines and engagement letters; resolves billing inquiries; supports annual rate uploads, reporting, system testing, documentation, and high-volume request tracking.
