I enable creativity by working with the team to distill down to the important outcome we are seeking. This requires supporting the engineering team in owning the path. By cutting away preconceived notions of how we might solve a problem the team can find success with autonomy, searching for a solution versus waiting for instructions.

Particle has been a data scientist's dream job: cutting-edge use cases, impactful projects, rich and copious data, and an exceedingly competent data engineering team. It's a startup, so there's some inherent risk and hours can get long on short timelines, but if you want to make an impact and work with great people, this is it.
