Frequently Asked Questions

Cultural Alignment

NinjaTrader’s culture emphasizes collaboration, ownership, and a shared commitment to helping traders succeed. Employees work toward the company’s mission to “build better futures for all traders,” and the company’s core values – including integrity, teamwork, and a focus on customer success – help guide how teams make decisions and work together.

Collaboration is a central part of daily work. Teams regularly share knowledge, solve problems together, and contribute ideas across functions. Employees often describe the environment as approachable and supportive, which helps create a workplace where colleagues can learn from one another and make meaningful contributions.

The company also encourages professional growth and initiative. Employees are encouraged to communicate their career goals, expand their skill sets, and take ownership of projects that move the business forward.

Beyond day-to-day work, NinjaTrader fosters connection through recognition programs and social activities. Team events, company lunches, and other gatherings create opportunities for employees to build relationships and celebrate achievements together.

Team Dynamics & Collaboration

Collaboration at NinjaTrader is built around teamwork, open communication, and shared ownership of projects. Teams regularly work together across disciplines to solve complex problems and deliver technology that supports traders around the world.

Employees are encouraged to share knowledge, contribute ideas, and work closely with colleagues when tackling technical challenges or building new features. This collaborative approach helps teams move quickly while ensuring that multiple perspectives are considered in the development process.

The company’s core values reinforce this team-oriented mindset. One of those values – “Push Forward Together” – emphasizes working as a team to overcome challenges, innovate, and continuously improve the platform and services offered to traders.

In practice, collaboration happens through regular team interactions, shared problem-solving, cross-team communication, and by creating an environment where employees can learn from one another and contribute to meaningful projects.

Recognition Practices

Employee contributions at NinjaTrader are recognized through both formal programs and everyday team appreciation. The company encourages managers and teams to acknowledge strong work, celebrate milestones, and highlight individuals who make outstanding contributions to projects and the broader organization.

Formal recognition programs include awards such as Core Value Awards and ABCD (“Above and Beyond the Call of Duty”) awards, which celebrate employees who exemplify the company’s values or make a notable impact through their work. These programs help reinforce the actions and team-centric mindset that support NinjaTrader’s mission and culture.

Recognition also happens informally within teams. Managers and colleagues often acknowledge accomplishments through team lunches, project celebrations, and day-to-day appreciation for strong performance or collaboration.

Together, these practices help create a culture where employees’ efforts are noticed and celebrated, reinforcing both individual contributions and team success.

NinjaTrader Employee Perspectives

Each year, the NinjaTrader team makes it a priority to support communities where we live and work through service, sponsorships, and shared experiences. Whether through formal events or grassroots volunteering, we believe in showing up and giving back.

NinjaTrader Employee Reviews

Abraham moved into a leadership role within six months of joining, which he credits to the internal resources available and the support of the training and quality team. What he likes about the work is the depth: deeper analysis, investigating every relevant angle, collaborating across teams, learning something new in the process.

"This position keeps me on my toes. There is never a boring day." He's proudest of the collaborative work to build internal documentation and new procedures for supporting NinjaTrader’s European clients. What surprised him most: "The overwhelming willingness as a company to ‘find a way,’ go with the flow, and adjust our policies or processes as needed."

Nivedita joined in December 2024 as Senior Director to build NinjaTrader's product marketing function from scratch. She was promoted to VP in October 2025, when lifecycle marketing joined her org, and she's now transforming lifecycle into a growth channel. Her team sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and business, bridging "we built this" to "traders actually use this." She came from a startup background, and the appeal here was doing that same zero-to-one work with real investment: "The speed and builder mentality of a startup, with the resources behind it that startups often don't have." She's candid that not every process is built out yet, but therein lies opportunity. "For those willing to see it as the opportunity for impact, this is the right place."

"We are the compliance team that business partners actually want to hear from, because our answer is usually 'yes, and here's how.'" Jeremy joined in December 2025 to build NinjaTrader's marketing compliance program. Within four months the mandate had expanded: he now leads marketing compliance across Payward, including NinjaTrader and Kraken.

His team reviews promotional materials before they go live and builds compliance frameworks for products that didn't exist when the relevant regulations were written. Alongside spearheading an AI-powered marketing review platform, he's proudest of the cultural shift: "Teams used to come to us at the end. Now that we're in the room from the start, campaigns and product launches ship faster and more confidently."
