Write tested code primarily in Go, manage PostgreSQL schemas and queries, and research AI-powered tools for software development and CI/CD optimization. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver user-focused solutions. Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and contribute to technical excellence.

Serves as the embedded finance partner to a business division CEO and leadership team. Leads budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, reporting, SaaS metric consistency, risk identification, cost savings, and operational efficiency initiatives. Supports monthly and quarterly close, board and lender reporting, cross-functional finance operations, and M&A synergy tracking and integration.

Owns month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, GL schedules, account reconciliations, financial reporting, variance analysis, and audit support. The role also supports M&A integration, technical accounting, policy maintenance, process improvement, internal controls, and ad hoc reporting across a multi-entity structure.
