High School Work Study provides hands-on hospitality experience for high school students in areas like guest services, food & beverage, culinary, housekeeping, front desk, banquets, engineering, finance, sales/marketing, and general lodging operations. Preferred candidates include current high school juniors/seniors or students enrolled in CTE or hospitality-related programs. JW Marriott emphasizes training, development, inclusion, and a luxury hospitality environment.

Support day-to-day rooms operations (housekeeping, front desk, recreation, laundry, concierge). Open/close shifts, review reports, assist with night audit, schedule and supervise staff, manage supplies/uniforms, help maximize room revenue and controllable expenses, handle guest feedback/complaints, and maintain cleanliness and loss-prevention standards.

Lead translation of HR business requirements into technical solution designs, drive full-stack application development and integrations, collaborate with architects and system integrators, manage product backlog and delivery, mentor engineers, and support lifecycle activities for corporate HR systems (custom and SaaS). Focus initially on learning/benefits applications and broader associate-facing HR solutions.

Design, develop, and implement features for the Marriott Bonvoy iOS app. Collaborate with cross-functional product teams, participate in code and requirements reviews, follow development and governance processes, support deployments and production activities, and learn mobile engineering best practices, Apple standards, and security requirements.

Design, develop, and implement features for the Marriott Bonvoy Android app. Collaborate with cross-functional product teams, participate in requirements and code reviews, follow development and governance processes, support deployments and production, and learn engineering best practices including security, Google design standards, and Agile/SAFe methodologies.

Develop, maintain, and optimize BI reports and dashboards (primarily Power BI) by querying large data sets with SQL, translating business requirements into technical specs, creating wireframes, conducting demos and testing, troubleshooting data quality, and delivering actionable visualizations and insights to stakeholders.

Lead marketing measurement initiatives (MMM, attribution, incrementality) using causal inference and validation techniques. Partner with marketing, data engineering, and vendors to deliver actionable insights, KPI frameworks, and strategic recommendations that optimize marketing ROI.

Lead design and implementation of iOS applications, mentor engineers, coordinate with vendors and operations, ensure delivery within scope/time/budget, and apply modern iOS practices (testing, CI/CD, analytics, async concurrency) to maintain high-quality production apps.
