Teams at Kiva

Manages mid-level and major donor portfolios, cultivates philanthropic advisors and donor-advised fund partners, develops engagement and solicitation strategies, and creates persuasive donor communications. Coordinates with Finance, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and impact teams to improve donor experiences, track relationship activity, support proposals and reporting, and increase philanthropic support. Plans donor events, maintains CRM records, evaluates campaign results, and represents Kiva with donors and external partners.

Leads Kiva’s public relations, media strategy, partner campaigns, thought leadership amplification, LinkedIn presence, and communications analytics. Responsibilities include media pitching, journalist relationship management, PR agency coordination, campaign development with partners, executive visibility at industry events, content strategy, performance reporting, and sharing insights across teams. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Creative, Strategic Partnerships, and external organizations.

Supports Kiva’s Business Development team by researching prospective partners, conducting outreach, managing inquiries, analyzing partner performance, creating case studies and pitch materials, and supporting partner onboarding and engagement. The intern also assists with marketing collateral, presentations, charts, graphs, and borrower-support content while developing partnership-building, research, communication, and relationship-management skills.
