Senior Instrumentation and Electrical Designer responsible for preparing accurate I&E drawings, coordinating multidisciplinary 3D CAD work, conducting field investigations, resolving design issues, and supporting engineering deliverables. The role requires technical guidance, knowledge of plant design and construction, adherence to PIP, NEC, IEC, ISA, and IEEE standards, and proficiency with AutoCAD, SmartPlant Instrumentation, Bentley, and Microsoft Office. The position is full-time and office-based in Corpus Christi, Texas, with travel determined by project requirements.

Leads instrumentation and controls engineering for large, multidisciplinary energy projects, including design reviews, specifications, control logic, alarm management, DCS/SIS integration, and vendor coordination. Supports FAT, PSAT, PSSR, commissioning, startup, and technical documentation. Requires extensive experience in refining, petrochemical, and related energy facilities, strong knowledge of instrumentation measurements and process control systems, and the ability to lead projects exceeding $150 million in total installed cost.

Manage chemical, petrochemical, and downstream EPC and CAPEX turnaround projects ranging from $1M to $100M. Responsibilities include overseeing scope, cost, schedule, procurement, contracts, proposals, change orders, project teams, client communications, reporting, critical-path forecasting, budget control, and construction or design processes. The role requires extensive Gulf Coast oil and gas experience, field experience, engineering knowledge, and strong project execution skills.
