Leads global commercial alliances with major hyperscalers, including AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, and Oracle. Owns joint business plans, co-sell motions, customer qualification, quantum capacity resale, marketplace routes, pricing, negotiations, pipeline, and revenue growth. Builds lighthouse partnerships, customer references, repeatable sales playbooks, and regional execution models for IonQ’s quantum computing and related technologies. Requires extensive hyperscaler alliance experience, emerging-technology commercialization expertise, executive communication, cross-functional leadership, and global travel.

Lead federal go-to-market and sales growth for IonQ’s quantum sensing products. Develop sales strategy, identify and manage large PNT/RF opportunities, oversee deals from customer engagement through contract delivery, monitor sales KPIs, and build executive relationships across the sensing industry. Collaborate with product, marketing, engineering, finance, legal, program management, and customer success teams to shape offerings, contracts, messaging, and customer outcomes.

Lead design and customer engagements to make networks quantum-safe: inventory cryptography, design migration paths to PQC and hybrid key exchange, run proofs-of-concept (including QKD where relevant), produce reference architectures and playbooks, influence standards, and provide technical authority across sales, product, and engineering.

Design visual narratives for investor presentations, financial conferences, investor days, and Board materials. Translate complex financial and technical information into clear data visualizations and persuasive presentations. Collaborate with the CFO, Investor Relations, brand teams, and senior executives while maintaining templates, chart libraries, and design systems. Support event assets across digital and print channels, apply AI-forward design practices, and handle confidential information with discretion.

Develop and scale selected reseller, distributor, systems integrator, telecommunications, hyperscaler, and consulting partnerships across the Americas. Lead partner strategy, co-selling, customer qualification, solution development, negotiations, pipeline forecasting, and commercialization of IonQ’s quantum portfolio. Build lighthouse engagements into referenceable wins, repeatable sales motions, and scalable channels while coordinating regional sales, global alliance, engineering, marketing, and program teams.

Owns IonQ’s sales strategy and account relationships across state, local, and academic institutions in the Northwest. Responsibilities include developing executive relationships, identifying opportunities, building quantum technology sales pipelines, qualifying deals, creating proposals, negotiating agreements, closing business, and supporting customer satisfaction. The role requires extensive quota-carrying technology sales experience in the SLED market and familiarity with emerging technologies such as quantum computing and AI/ML.

Own global alliances with selected advisory and consulting partners, including joint business plans, executive relationships, co-selling, pipeline, forecasting, and commercial outcomes. Lead customer discovery and solution development across quantum computing, networking, security, sensing, and space. Coordinate global and regional teams, build partner capabilities, secure referenceable wins, and convert early engagements into repeatable sales motions, playbooks, and scalable revenue channels.

Leads IonQ’s transactions function, drafting and negotiating complex commercial, technology, IP, regulatory, supply chain, partnership, and government agreements. Develops contract templates, playbooks, processes, and risk frameworks; partners with business and legal teams; manages high-volume transactional work; oversees attorney workloads and training; and serves as senior escalation counsel for complex matters. The role requires strong business judgment, negotiation, stakeholder management, legal-function improvement, and autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Partners with IonQ leaders on financial analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, spending controls, and company-wide initiatives. The role supports cross-functional decision-making, improves planning systems, and contributes to investor relations and corporate development activities. It requires strong financial modeling, communication, and analytical skills, with a focus on a rapidly growing quantum technology business.

Administer and maintain IonQ's Salesforce Government Cloud org for federal sales: govern access and compliance, build declarative enhancements, manage data quality and releases, support Salesforce Shield controls and audits, produce reports/dashboards, triage federal requests, lead UAT, and maintain documentation and runbooks.

Develop and optimize quantum algorithms and applications for scientific and commercial impact, collaborating with partners and driving innovation.

The Senior Microwave Research Scientist will design and integrate microwave circuits for qubit control, lead validation efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on quantum computing applications.
