Supports, develops, validates, deploys, and maintains manufacturing execution systems in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Translates business processes into technical solutions, manages electronic execution tickets, resolves system issues, coordinates releases and lifecycle activities, and ensures systems remain validated. Partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, third parties, and global MES teams to improve manufacturing processes, prioritize work, manage escalations, and deliver compliant digital solutions. This is an onsite role with occasional on-call work and 10%–15% travel.

Own the security automation architecture and roadmap, designing reliable Python systems, API integrations, and AI-augmented agentic workflows. Establish engineering standards, testing, documentation, deployment, and harness strategies while contributing to cloud and application security direction. Lead, develop, and hire automation engineers, review code, prioritize automation opportunities, and ensure delivered systems are maintainable, extensible, and appropriately balanced with human oversight.

Leads Lilly’s enterprise security posture and exposure management organization. Owns vulnerability management strategy, scanning architecture, application security integration, offensive security oversight, risk-based prioritization, remediation SLAs, exposure reporting, tooling, automation, vendors, budget, and executive accountability. The role requires deep hands-on cybersecurity expertise and experience leading leaders across enterprise-scale vulnerability management or security operations.
