Manages transportation design projects, including roadway and highway engineering, staff supervision, document production, budgets, schedules, client communication, and project marketing support. The role requires coordinating design teams and collaborating across offices. Candidates must have a civil or transportation engineering degree, at least eight years of highway and roadway design experience, and an NC PE license or the ability to obtain one within six months.

Develop traffic engineering solutions for roadway and multimodal transportation projects, including traffic control, signing and pavement marking, signal and ITS design, roadway lighting, and operations analysis. Prepare design plans for DOT and municipal clients, support project and task management, build client relationships, present at industry events, and contribute to business and technical growth.

Prepare work zone traffic control and transportation management plans for DOT and municipal projects. Support signing, pavement marking, and traffic signal plans, perform traffic analyses, and contribute to transportation engineering projects. Requires civil engineering education, professional engineering licensure, traffic engineering experience, knowledge of DOT standards, MicroStation, traffic analysis software, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong communication and organizational skills.
