Supports NERC Operations and Planning compliance across renewable energy projects by reviewing evidence, maintaining records, preparing audit materials, monitoring compliance activities, updating procedures, coordinating training, and assisting with regulatory reporting and process improvement. The role collaborates with internal subject matter experts, IT, and operational teams and is based in Charlotte, NC with limited remote flexibility.

Lead and execute community engagement plans for wind, solar, and storage projects. Coordinate outreach to landowners, elected officials, regulators, and NGOs; prepare materials and multimedia assets; organize meetings, hearings, open houses, and conferences; synthesize stakeholder feedback into actionable changes; collaborate with development, external affairs, environment and permitting, corporate communications, and operations teams to secure permits and social license and maintain community relationships.

Supports vendor onboarding, documentation, compliance tracking, performance monitoring, reporting, communications, and contract renewals for renewable energy projects. Coordinates with procurement, project management, and finance teams to resolve documentation gaps, maintain accurate records, and support reliable supplier service delivery.

Design, implement, and maintain SCADA systems for data centers and renewable assets (wind, solar, BESS). Troubleshoot hardware/software, manage data connections, coordinate with IT and OEMs, perform testing and validation, support NERC CIP compliance, provide user training, and participate in on-call rotations and occasional site travel.

The SCADA Engineer will design, implement, and maintain SCADA systems for energy projects, providing technical support and ensuring optimal performance.

Perform month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities; manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations; handle cash accounting; prepare balance sheet reconciliations; execute SOX controls; support audits, ERP implementations, and UAT; analyze financial variances; and drive process improvements with cross-functional partners.
